Travel Assistance Program

The plan provides assistance services to travelers, 24 hours / 7 days, due to emergency situations during a trip outside their country of residence and during the period of validity of the plan.

  • Emergency medical services

Road Assistance Program

24 hours Emergency Assistance on the Road

The Road Assistance program provides the coordination of the required assistance and the quick dispatch of trained personnel to help you in case of an emergency on the road that impedes the circulation of the vehicle, and also, its transfer to the nearest repair facility.

The program is available in Puerto Rico, including Vieques and Culebra. Until now, the availability of the program in other countries is subject to consideration and evaluation

Services offered by the Plan

The plan covers up to 4 events per year, and up to 15 miles in distance per event in licensed and registered vehicles. The included services are:

24 Hours in Emergency Services on the Highway. A towing vehicle or trailer will be dispatched quickly to your aid. You will simply sign for the service received.

  • Service of Gasoline and Fluids Supply. A towing vehicle or trailer will be dispatched to supply you with gasoline, oil, water, or any other provision needed to start your car. You pay only for the cost of the supply received.
  • Tire service. A towing vehicle or trailer will be dispatched quickly anytime you have a punctured or damaged tire, to disassemble and install the spare tire or tire of your vehicle.
  • Battery Service. All towing or towing vehicles are equipped to charge their battery and make minor adjustments to the starter and alternators in the event of an emergency on the road.
  • Locksmith Service. If the ignition key of your car is lost, broken or left inside the car, we will send a locksmith who will open your car on the passenger side. This service does not include the cost of the lock or keys.

 

 

Funeral Assistance Program

The Funeral Assistance program provides immediate coordination services through independent providers of funeral services, in the event of death from any cause of the participant.

Redbridge Assist will pay for the cost of the following items and services to the funeral service provider, without exceeding the maximum limit of US $ 4,000.

  • Legal procedures required for burial or cremation.
  • Land transfer of the body to the morgue, funeral, religious service, cemetery or other, up to 25 miles radius.
  • Coffin or coffin of linear cut, rectangular of standard size, upholstered and quilted in fabric, according to the regulations established in the country. In case of cremation, linear cutting urn, standard size.
  • Preparation of the body (clothing and makeup), if requested.
  • Use of the wake room and other facilities of a funeral home well established up to 24 hours, or service in the residence of the deceased.
  • Basic cafeteria service (the cost of consumption is not included).
  • Reminder cards (100 maximum amount).
  • Burial assistance book.
  • Floral arrangement of up to USD $ 100.
  • Coordination of the religious service, if requested by the family.
  • Service of funeral carriage to the religious service and to the cemetery or crematorium.
  • Additional float to transport the flowers to the final destination, if necessary.


This program does not cover the cost of buying, leasing and / or maintaining the space in the cemetery, nor by mausoleums, gravestones and / or similar items

 

 

Emergency Home Assistance Program

The Emergency Home Assistance program provides up to four services per year, for each of the following four categories:

  • PLUMBING: Repair of any plumbing problem in the property.
  • LOCKSMITH: A locksmith is sent to restore access to the property.
  • ELECTRICITY: Repair of any electrical problem in the property as a result of a power failure.
  • ACCIDENTAL BREAKAGE OF CRYSTALS: Replacement of broken glass in doors, windows and / or any glass that forms part of the exterior of the building that faces the street.

The services include the cost of labor, materials and technician transfer. Any additional cost to the benefit limit per event is the responsibility of the affiliated person.
